Spreading Christ's Light to our Community and the World

About Us

Our History

Heritage Presbyterian Church serving Amherst, Lorain, and surrounding communities, was formed in October 1999 by the merger of Westminister Presbyterian Church chartered in Amherst, Ohio in 1958 and Northminister Presbyterian Church, chartered in Lorain, Ohio in 1962.

Both Westminister and Northminister are descendents of First Presbyterian Church in Lorain, Ohio, chartered in September 1900.
